CAD Viewer for DWG and DXF

Load a drawing, see it drawn on canvas, and export the fitted view as a raster PDF. No vector output, no 1:1 plot, and not a complete DWG reader.

Fitted view

After you open a file, the engine draws the fitted 2D model space here — or the paper layout saved active in the file when it has no model space. Zoom and inspect on the canvas; the exported sheet is this view fitted to one A4 landscape page: a raster image, not a vector PDF and not a 1:1 plot.

About this viewer

The page reads the drawing you choose and draws a fitted view on the canvas. The status line reports the current step, and the parse report in the resource inspector lists what was parsed: entity counts, layer names, the scope on screen, and any item that had to be skipped. Everything runs in this browser tab; there is no drawing-upload feature.

A drawing can open for viewing and still refuse a PDF — the guideWhy PDF export is blocked before a drawing is finished explains the difference and what to repair where.

Raster PDF export

Download raster PDF produces a raster image of the current fitted view on a single A4 landscape sheet, scaled to fit the page. It is not a vector PDF, not a 1:1 plot, and not a reproduction of a full DWG sheet layout. If unsupported entities, unavailable fonts or unresolved images are present, the export stops and names the reason.
